Appleseed Event

May 12--Project Appleseed Rifle Marksmanship Event

The Shorma family will be hosting one of Project Appleseed’s rifle marksmanship and American heritage events at Sandhills Stables in Kindred, ND, on Saturday, May 12. A great family field trip for homeschoolers of all ages, this event will present unique insights into the providential working of God in the events surrounding April 19, 1775, alongside personal stories of those who were there at Lexington and Concord. Throughout the day, quality rifle marksmanship instruction will give you the tools you need to confidently achieve hits out to the rifleman’s quarter mile. Using scaled down 1940’s era Army Qualification Targets allows the entire course to be fired at 25 yards while using .22 rifles to conserve on the cost of ammo. $2.50/person under 21 years of age. More information and online registration can be found at http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=28792.0. Contact Jonathan Bartlett at 701-263-4575 or nd@appleseedinfo.org if you have any questions or need to borrow firearms. Visit www.appleseedusa.org to learn more about Project Appleseed.
