Video of Cassie
I was going to post this video I made awhile ago, but never got around to it! The quality didn't turn out nearly as good as I would have liked, but I'm not going to take time to fix it. :-) It's just a quick little video I did with random shots of Cassie when she was 4 weeks old. She's a LOT bigger now! :-) Enjoy!
Here are a few pictures I took when she was maybe 5 1/2 weeks old.
Maybe 1 or 2 weeks? Maybe 5 1/2 weeks?
My favorite picture of her! :-)

LIFMF 2012
Wow. I cannot believe that the Lake Itasca Family Music Festival is OVER already! It's definitely one of the highlights of the entire year for us, and this year was no exception. It's the 7th straight year that we've attended, and I wouldn't miss it for the world! If you were there, what was your favorite band this year?

My good friends Maria, Anna and Lydia U. playing on the showcase stage

Yes, I'll admit it . . . I went to the Wissmann's kid's program (in my defense, there were a lot of other adults there too!). Every time I go there, I laugh so hard my stomach hurts!! :-) The Wissmann Family was also one of the main-stage bands this year.

It was so much fun to see friends that I hadn't seen since last year! Amy Vest was one of them - it was GREAT to see you Amy! :-)

Triple L Band (from New Mexico) played at night . . . yes, they're wearing their winter jackets. The Alaska String Band was just up there previously playing in short sleeves! lol :-) Seriously, it was cold though - I had a jacket and two blankets and was still freezing!

The Sunday morning hymn sing is always nice, especially because there are so many musical people at the festival!

Also, check out Alyssa's blog for some more pictures!

Hope to see y'all there next year!

Introducing . . .
Cassie!

She's been through a lot and had several problems that we've had to take her to the vet for, but thankfully she's doing fairly well at the moment.
