Prayer for Japan

(photo from Samaritan's Purse)

As I'm sure most of you know, there was a terrible earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11th. My uncle and aunt and their children have been missionaries there for many years, and we are thankful they are all safe! However, many in Japan are dead, many are missing, and the survivors are struggling with the basic necessity's of life - food, water, electricity, gas, and shelter. My uncle is leading the volunteer coordinators' team of CRASH (Christian Relief, Assistance, Support and Hope) in Tokyo, so prayers for him and those involved with relief efforts would be appreciated! Also, if the Lord leads you to donate any money, there are many Christian organizations you can do that through, including CRASH (follow above link) or Samaratin's Purse, or World Vision and probably others as well! So please keep the nation of Japan in your prayers, and ask God to comfort those who have lost loved ones, and to open their hearts to the Gospel. Thank you!

Talent Night at Convention

Here is a video of our family at the talent show (thanks to Andrew B. for the footage - check out his blog for more talent night videos).  The first song is Let Me Tell You About Jesus,  and the second one is called Washing the Feet of My Family by Abigail Miller. In spite of our mistakes, we hope you are blessed by the words to these songs!! :-)

COURAGEOUS TRAILER!!!!!!

This movie is going to be AWESOME!!! We already saw some clips from it at the Christian Filmmakers Academy in San Antonio (can't share any secrets though!), and I was THRILLED to see the trailer finally came out!!!! I would encourage every one of you to be in theatres Sept. 30th, 2011 to support this God-honoring film on fatherhood!!! Visit http://www.courageousthemovie.com/ to find out more!

2011 Convention Slideshow

Here's a slideshow I put together of photos I took at the convention this year! The music wasn't quite playing right for me, so hopefully it works okay - if not, you can just mute it and watch the pcitures!! :-) Enjoy!

2011 ND Homeschool Convention

The Lord blessed us with a great convention this year, and we were glad everything went so well! I have over 400 pictures to go through, but I will be doing a picture post soon. For now, enjoy this introductory video made by the NDHSA Webmaster, Andrew Bartlett. Great job Andrew! :-)
