Did you go to one of the tea parties? Unfortunately, we didn't hear about it until after the fact, but we probably wouldn't have gone anyway, since the nearest one was 1 1/2 hours away.

No, we didn't go to any of the tea parties. We didn't hear about it until the day it was happening, and I'm not even sure where the nearest one was! :-) But I wish we could have gone. That would have been fun. :-)

Right on. However, my question is this: How many of those in the cheering crowds went home and forgot all about the action needed to change this nation? Doug was completely right and accurate in everything he said, but it won't make a difference if we don't act. The apathy in this people is appalling, and I wonder if a few moving speeches will be enough to break through it. Still, it was a good message.
